Rest In Peace to the legendary dancer, West Coast Icon, Long Beach Original & one of the 1st Mexican street dancers, Bruno “Pop N Taco” Falcon also known as “King Snake”. One of my heroes that I grew up watching when I used to Pop back in the days in the 80’s. Swipe Over to see him in action.
I used to hear his name along with Boogaloo Shrimp aka “Turbo” around town growing up in Cerritos, not knowing he was from Long Beach. I finally got to see him on the 1983 Documentary “Breakin N Enterin” on VHS.
He made a big impact when he played one of the rivals with another legend & hero of mine, @popinpete as the duo “Electro Rock” on the 1984 movie “Breakin”.
He also made his mark doing choreography for the great Michael Jackson, such as Captain Eo with Popin Pete, & Smooth Criminal (He’s on the left up front with MJ).
He was still dancing even still to this day & teaching private lessons from his garage.
Thank you Pop N Taco for your influence & memories. You will be missed. This one really hurts & hits home.nd….

He was also one of the dancers on the “Smooth Criminal” video who did the enduring lean sequence. It was also stated the Bruno had taught MJ many of his iconic Dance Moves. Michael Hired Bruno for most of his tour’s in the ’90s as everything from Choreographer to Creative Consultant.
He was also in many Motion Pictures including “Breakin’ ” 1984, “Breakin’ 2 Electric Boogaloo” 1984, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” 1991 “Thumbelina” 1994, and Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker” 1988.
