Hip-Hop Artist Coolio Passes away at 59 : RIP

It was announced today that Artis Leon Ivey Jr. better known as COOLIO passed away today. 

"Coolio's longtime manager, Jarez, says Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend's house, but when he didn't come after a while ... the friend kept calling for him, and eventually went in and found Coolio laying on the floor." - According to TMZ

His Manager confirmed he had a Heart Attack.

Coolio had several hits in the 90s including his 1995 Grammy award winning hit "Gangsters Paradise" featuring LV which was part of the soundtrack for the movie Dangerous Minds Starring Michelle Phiffer,  1994's "Fantastic Voyage", "Its All The Way Live" , "1234" and one of my Personal Favorites "County Line"
Coolio Came out in the Los Angeles Scene  and released his first single "Whatcha Gonna Do?" in 1987 and in 1991 became part of the group W.C. and the Maad Circle with W.C. (of West Side Connection) Big Gee and Crazy Toones RIP.
During the 2000s Coolio di several album releases but unfortunately none of them had much success. He also appeared on many reality TV Shows including 

Wife Swap, Celebrity Big Brother, Ultimate Big Brother, Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook Off and more.

Coolio leaves behind six children. Our hearts and prayers are with Coolio's Close Friends and Family
